Mt. Sac Bridge Program
The Bridge Program offers several learning communities designed to increase students' academic and personal success through the structuring of the learning environment. If students are interested or would like more information please visit http://www.mtsac.edu/students/bridge/ Applications are now available. Completed applications may be turned in to the school's assigned Mt. SAC outreach specialist, may be sent by mail, or delivered in person to the Bridge Program Office (Building 9D).

Cash For College Workshops
During January and February, students and families can attend FREE Cash for College workshops across the Inland Empire for help to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and Cal Grant GPA Verification Form required for Cal Grants. Financial Aid Workshop @ Mt. Sac
Mt. Sac is holding a free financial aid workshop on February 11, 2012 from 9:00 a.m- 2:00 p.m.Parents and students interested need to register online to reserve a spot at www.mtsac.edu starting January 9th, 2012. Students will receive help filling out the FAFSA and getting direct one-on-one assistance.

Free Online Tutoring
Students can get free online tutoring at http://www.hippocampus.org/. Students can also visit Khan academy www.khanacademy.org where they can receive step-by-step assistance in various subjects through online lessons. Students can also visit www.ixl.com and gain a foundation in subjects they are having difficulty in and allow the student to master the fundamental areas within each subject.These websites contain videos on various subjects and also contain test prep material. It covers the CAHSEE and SAT math areas, so students have supplementary guidance for their classes and tests through the videos provided on these websites.

University of Laverne Full Tuition
There is an opportunity for students to ear a full tuition performance scholarships to the University of LaVerne. Scholarships will be offered to two incoming students in the Fall of 2012 in the following disciplines: Video Production art, Photography, Music, Theater, and Debate. UCI Stay Over Program 2012
Uc Irvine sty-over program offers high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to experience college life by shadowing a college student for a day. Students can schedule a one night session Monday-Thursday. Students can go to www.housing.uci.edu/sop to download an application. If you have questions email at sop@uci.edu or call (949) 824-1030.
NHS Tutoring in the Library
The National Honor Society will be available for tutoring in the Library after school until 3:00. Tutoring is on a walk in basis, but students should be prepared with specific questions.

After School Tutoring from Chaffey College
Chaffey College students will be available for help in the library on Monday and Wednesday after school until 3:30 for all levels of Math. They will also be there Tuesday until 3:30 for english tutoring. Tutoring is on a walk in basis, but student should be prepared with specific questions.

William S. Davila Scholarship Fund: 
Awards range from $1,000 to $2,500.  For students working in the food industry or have parents working in the food industry. BigSun Scholarship  The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to continue to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. This is an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All student athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport they are participating in.

The California State PTA is offering graduating High School Senior Scholarships in the amount of 5,000 to acknowledge their achievements . Students must complete a cover letter, application, and 2 refrences. Applications can be downloaded at www.capta.org Applications are due into the office by February 1st.

The scholarship awards $10,000 per year (for up to four years) to a student to attend a state university in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree. Komen scholarship recipients are selected based on scholastic achievement, community service, financial need and demonstrated leadership potential. Scholarship recipients serve as Komen Collegiate Ambassadors and must volunteer their time to breast cancer awareness activities for at least 20 hours per semester.

The Buick Achievers scholarship program is offering 100 scholarships each up to 25,000 a year. This is for high school seniors who plan to attend a 4 year College/University in 2012/ 2013. The application deadline is February 29th, 2012. For more information visit www.buickachievers.com
